Innovation Through Collaboration
The TTRAC Cluster
COMPASS is one of the seven Horizon Europe projects selected to be part of the TTRAC cluster (an acronym for Twin-Transition Cluster), aimed at creating circular, sustainable, and resource-efficient industries by harnessing cutting-edge technologies and pioneering business models.
Members
Compass
COMPASS strives to turn aerospace and automotive waste into high-quality components for new products by developing a digital product passport that contains updatable, whole-life-cycle information about a component, enabling efficient repair and high-quality end-of-life processes.
DiCiM
DiCiM is a 4-year project funded by the European Commission. It demonstrates integrated digital solutions in four use cases in three industrial sectors (white goods, electronics and automotive), representing over two-thirds of the European Economy.
R3-Mydas
R3-MYDAS enables and accelerates the transition of the manufacturing industry. It focuses on the development of a multi-actor framework, integrating innovative digital technologies, advanced mechatronics and newly developed approaches from social sciences and humanities.
RemaNet
RemaNet is a Remanufacturing Network driving the shift toward sustainable manufacturing by promoting remanufacturing, recycling, and material efficiency. It establishes a new collaborative business model through a factory-integrated digital platform that connects stakeholders across the entire remanufacturing value chain.
RENEE
RENÉE project aims to address this by shifting towards circular value chains, emphasising remanufacturing in the household appliances, robotics, and mobility sectors. Utilising advanced AI and robotics, RENÉE seeks to rejuvenate used products, fostering a sustainable revolution in the EU industry.
RESTORE
The project will develop the RESTORE platform, a suite of digital tools that enhance automation, support decision-making, and optimise remanufacturing processes. It will include simulation and recipe-book tools, a data-driven decision support framework, and a blockchain-enabled digital product passport for full lifecycle traceability.
